With the
release of Psycho, the first song from upcoming album Drones expected next
June, famous alternative rock band Muse sets the tone, it’s the least we can
say. A big and direct sound, a green and distressing message that is already
debate, a stupid charge of plagiarism coming from an unknown hard-rock band, how not to better prepare the true event
of the year.
After
managing to get free from Radiohead model that has long stuck to it, the
English trio got a worldwide fame in the 2000s with albums such as
iconic Absolution & Black Holes and Revelations. Being apparently back
to basics while setting electro effects in the background, this 7th album
seems to fit into the line that made Muse one of the most popular pop rock groups thanks to a powerful stage presence, hard-hitting guitar riffs and the outstanding vocal personality of bandleader Matthew
Bellamy. To listen with abandon, of course.
