Artist of the Week : Ella Henderson
British
finalist of the 2012 X Faxtor session surprisingly failed to win the contest but
took revenge this year while reaching number one in the U.K charts with her first
single Ghost.
Here she
comes again with her single Glow, a brand new track introducing her upcoming
album Chapter One to be released next
month.
According
to her biography, she began singing at the age of three and was supported by her grandfather to assert her burgeoning talent. The young Ella won
a string of song contests when she was at school what allowed her to join the
famous Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, best known for its dance teaching.
At 16, she was chosen to compete on X
Factor with an original song, Missed, but soon found out of the race by the jury, to the
despair of the public with which she was considered a favorite. After a year
spent to get known through covers of the current hits, she announced in early 2014 she
is preparing her debut album. Some has seen her as the new Adele but other than sometimes close voice tones, the young songwriter gets her own
personality, showing a flamboyant and energetic side. New song Glow won’t refute
it.
