Artist of the Week : Mark Ronson

English producer, guitarist and singer Mark Ronson came to prominence in 2007 thanks to Amy Winehouse’s smash hit Valerie, one of these pure jewels that never take a wrinkle. Archetypal eclectic artist, he also worked for Robbie William, Lily Allen, Adele, and Maroon 5 mixing brilliantly sounds of the 80s, as well as rap and Caribbean rhythms. Inveterate seducer, he was elected by GQ magazine the most stylish English artist and married in 2011 French top model and actress Josephine De la Baume with whom he appeared in an advertising campaign for clothing brand Zadig and Voltaire. He has now just passed out Bruno Mars from his retreat showcasing him in Uptown Funk, a clashing title the clip of which sets the tone, clearly remembering missing stars Michael Jackson & James Brown. As funky as groovy, no doubt, the song will soon heat up the dancefloors.
