Artist of the Week:
Jack Savoretti

Born in London to a Polish German model and an Italian actor, 31 year-old Jack Savoretti moved young to Switzerland where he shared his life between poem writing  and football training. Strongly influenced by American culture, he started playing guitar in Bob Dylan’s way releasing his first single late 2006. His debut album dated 2007 earned him to make a name in the U.K. after opening for Corinne Bailey Rae’s tour. His very promising start was however almost cut short due to trouble with his publisher. He even thought to do away with music but songwriting took over it and a sophomore album, released a  in 2012 under a Swedish label, was well reviewed by critics. His 3rd album due for release in January, 2015 already announces maturity with, according to what is already available, a trendier musical line and a reworked voice both calling back Joe Cocker and getting closer to Italian-made gritty crooning. Obviously, an attractive artist who deserves wide recognition.
